星星王国是一个奇妙的地方。那里没有汽车和马路，只有闪闪发光的星云路；那里没有高楼大厦，只有由水晶和彩虹织成的宫殿；那里的人们不需要吃饭喝水，每天只需要吸收一点点月光，就能快乐地生活一整天。
The Star Kingdom is a wondrous place. Instead of cars and roads, there are shimmering nebula pathways; instead of tall buildings, there are palaces woven from crystals and rainbows. The people there don't need to eat or drink—they simply absorb a little moonlight each day, and that keeps them happy and full of energy.
在这个王国里，住着一个特别的小女孩。她的名字叫小星。
In this kingdom, there lived a very special little girl. Her name was Xiao Xing.
小星和别的小星星们长得不太一样。别的小星星总是发出金黄色的光芒，圆圆的脸蛋，笑起来眼睛会弯成月牙形。可是小星呢？她有时候会发出淡紫色的光，有时候又变成淡淡的蓝色，有时候甚至会一闪一闪地变化好几种颜色。别的小星星们看了，总觉得小星很奇怪。
Xiao Xing was different from the other little stars. The other stars always glowed in golden yellow, with round faces and eyes that curved into crescent moons when they smiled. But Xiao Xing? Sometimes she gave off a soft purple light, sometimes it turned a gentle blue, and sometimes it would sparkle and shift through several colors! The other stars would look at her and think she was quite strange.
“你为什么和我们不一样呢？”一颗叫亮亮的小星星问道。
"Why don't you look like us?" asked a little star named Liang Liang.
“你是不是生病了？”另一颗叫晶晶的小星星担心地说。
"Are you sick?" said another little star named Jing Jing, with concern in her voice.
小星低下头，看着自己忽明忽暗的光芒，心里很难过。她也想和其他星星一样，发出金色的光芒，可是她的光就是不听她的话。
Xiao Xing lowered her head, looking at her flickering light, and felt very sad inside. She wished she could glow golden like the other stars, but her light just wouldn't listen to her.
“为什么我和其他人不一样呢？”小星问自己，“是不是我有什么问题？”
"Why am I different from everyone else?" Xiao Xing asked herself. "Is something wrong with me?"
小星的妈妈——星星王国的王后发现女儿整日闷闷不乐，便走过来，轻轻地把小星抱在怀里。
Xiao Xing's mother—the Queen of the Star Kingdom—noticed that her daughter had been sad and downhearted every day. She walked over, gently pulled Xiao Xing into her arms, and held her close.
“小星，妈妈想告诉你一个秘密。”王后温柔地说。
"Xiao Xing, sweetheart, Mama wants to tell you a secret," the Queen said gently.
“什么秘密？”小星抬起头，眼睛里闪着好奇的光。
"What secret?" Xiao Xing looked up, curiosity sparkling in her eyes.
王后笑了笑，指着头顶那颗最明亮、最特别的星星说：“你看那颗星星，你知道它是谁吗？”
The Queen smiled and pointed to the brightest, most special star in the sky. "Do you see that star up there? Do you know who it is?"
“那颗星星好亮啊！”小星惊叹道，“它是谁？”
"That star is so bright!" Xiao Xing exclaimed. "Who is it?"
“那颗星星，就是你啊，我亲爱的女儿。”王后微笑着说出答案。
"That star, my dear daughter, is you," the Queen smiled and revealed the answer.
“我？”小星惊讶极了，“可是……可是我怎么会发出那么多颜色的光呢？”
"Me?" Xiao Xing was astonished. "But... but why do I glow in so many different colors?"
“因为你是我们星星王国最特别的公主。”王后轻轻抚摸着小星的头，“在很久很久以前，当星星王国刚刚建立的时候，所有的星星都是一种颜色——金色。那时候的星空虽然美丽，但总是少了点什么。直到有一天，一位伟大的星星预言家说：‘总有一天，会有一颗独一无二的星星诞生。她会拥有七种颜色的光芒，代表着七种神奇的力量。有了她，星星王国将会变得前所未有的美好。’”
"Because you are the most special princess of our Star Kingdom," the Queen gently stroked Xiao Xing's head. "Long, long ago, when the Star Kingdom was just being built, all the stars were the same color—gold. The sky was beautiful back then, but something was always missing. Then one day, a great star seer spoke these words: 'One day, a unique star will be born. She will possess the light of seven colors, representing seven magical powers. With her, the Star Kingdom will become more wonderful than ever before.'"
小星听得入了迷：“所以……所以我的光之所以会变色，是因为我拥有七种神奇的力量？”
Xiao Xing listened spellbound: "So... so the reason my light changes colors is because I have seven magical powers?"

"That's right!" The Queen nodded. "Your soft purple light represents wisdom—when you think quietly and deeply, it shines bright. Your blue light represents courage—when you're scared but still face your difficulties bravely, it sparkles. Your green light represents kindness—when you help others and care about people, it glows. Your yellow light represents happiness—when you laugh, jump, and play, it radiates warmth. Your orange light represents creativity—when you draw, sing, or come up with fun ideas, it sparkles. Your red light represents passion—when you do something you love with all your heart, it burns bright. And when you blend all seven lights together—"
王后停顿了一下，指向天空那颗最明亮的星星：“你就会变成那颗星星，发出独一无二的光芒，照亮整个星星王国！”
The Queen paused and pointed to the brightest star in the sky: "You become that star—glowing with a light that belongs only to you, illuminating the entire Star Kingdom!"
小星抬起头，看着自己头顶那颗闪闪发光的星星，眼睛里渐渐充满了光芒。她第一次发现，原来自己的“不一样”，不是缺点，而是最珍贵的礼物！
Xiao Xing looked up at that brightest star, and light gradually filled her eyes. For the first time, she realized that her "being different" wasn't a flaw at all—it was the most precious gift!
“妈妈！我明白了！”小星开心地跳了起来，“我不是有问题，我是有特别的力量！”
"Mama! I understand now!" Xiao Xing jumped up with joy. "There's nothing wrong with me—I have special powers!"
