第一章：小码农的代码小窝

清晨的阳光像一群金色的小精灵，悄悄地穿过薄薄的窗帘缝隙，溜进了小码农的房间。它们在墙上跳着欢快的舞蹈，在地板上铺出一条条闪闪发光的金色小路，仿佛在轻声呼唤着：“起床啦，起床啦，新的一天开始啦！”

The morning sun was like a group of little golden spirits, quietly slipping through the thin curtains into Little Coder's room. They danced joyfully on the walls and laid golden paths across the floor, as if whispering: "Wake up, wake up, a new day has begun!"

小码农——我们故事的小主人公，此刻正蜷缩在他那印满星星图案的小被子里，做着甜甜的美梦。他的小脸蛋红扑扑的，嘴角挂着一丝微笑，不知道在梦里遇见了什么有趣的事情。他的小鼻子随着呼吸轻轻翕动，偶尔还会发出几声可爱的呼噜声。

Little Coder—that's our story's little hero—was curled up in his little blanket covered with star patterns, dreaming a sweet dream. His little face was rosy, a smile hanging from the corner of his mouth, wondering what interesting things he had encountered in his dream. His little nose fluttered gently with his breathing, occasionally letting out some cute little snoring sounds.

"Ding-ding-ding, ding-ding-ding—"

一阵清脆的闹钟声打破了清晨的宁静。小码农的眼皮动了动，又动了动，然后——

A crisp alarm sound broke the silence of the morning. Little Coder's eyelids fluttered, and fluttered again, and then—

Little Coder's eyes flew open, and he jumped out of bed in a hurry. But then he realized it was Saturday—he didn't have school today! He rubbed his sleepy eyes and slowly relaxed, a mischievous smile spreading across his face.

周末对小码农来说，意味着一天中最美好的时光——他可以整日整夜地待在他的“代码小窝”里，和他最喜欢的“朋友们”——电脑和键盘——待在一起。

For Little Coder, weekends meant the most wonderful time—he could spend whole days and nights in his "Code Cottage," together with his favorite "friends"—the computer and keyboard.

Little Coder jumped out of bed, threw on his pajamas with the cute robot pattern, and shuffled shuffle-shuffled to the bathroom to wash up. His movements were as quick as a little whirlwind, and in no time he had cleaned himself up nice and neat.

然后，他像一只快乐的小松鼠一样，蹦蹦跳跳地跑下楼。

Then he ran downstairs like a happy little squirrel, hopping and skipping all the way.

“早安，宝贝！”妈妈的声音从厨房里传来，伴随着锅铲和锅子碰撞的叮当声，“今天的早餐是你最喜欢的——彩虹煎饼！”

"Good morning,宝贝!" Mom's voice came from the kitchen, accompanied by the clanging and clattering of spatulas and pots, "Today's breakfast is your favorite—rainbow pancakes!"

“哇！太棒啦！”小码农的眼睛亮了起来，“妈妈做的彩虹煎饼是世界上最好吃的！”

"Woo! That's awesome!" Little Coder's eyes sparkled, "Mom's rainbow pancakes are the most delicious in the whole world!"

餐桌上，七张五颜六色的煎饼整齐地叠在一起，红的像太阳，橙的像橘子，黄的像香蕉，绿的像树叶，蓝的像天空，紫的像葡萄。每一张煎饼都散发着诱人的香气，上面还淋着亮晶晶的枫糖浆。

On the dining table, seven colorful pancakes were neatly stacked together—red like the sun, orange like an orange, yellow like a banana, green like tree leaves, blue like the sky, purple like grapes. Each pancake gave off an enticing aroma, drizzled with sparkling maple syrup.

小码农美美地享用完早餐，擦了擦嘴角的糖浆，然后迫不及待地跑向他的“秘密基地”——位于二楼走廊尽头的小房间。

After enjoying his delicious breakfast and wiping the syrup from the corner of his mouth, Little Coder couldn't wait to rush to his "Secret Base"—the little room at the end of the second-floor hallway.

This was Little Coder's Code Cottage—a magical and cozy little space.

房间不大，但每一寸空间都被巧妙地利用起来。墙上贴满了各种各样的贴纸：有闪闪发光的星星，有正在发射火箭的宇航员，有各种可爱的小动物，还有一些奇怪的符号和图案——那些小码农正在学习认识的“代码世界的朋友们”。

The room wasn't big, but every inch of space was cleverly used. The walls were covered with all kinds of stickers: sparkling stars, astronauts launching rockets, various cute little animals, and some strange symbols and patterns—those were the "friends in the code world" that Little Coder was learning to recognize.

窗户旁边摆着一盆绿萝，嫩绿的叶子在阳光下显得生机勃勃。书桌上整整齐齐地摆放着几本厚厚的编程书籍，书脊上的字迹已经有些褪色——那都是小码农翻阅了无数遍留下的痕迹。

By the window sat a pot of pothos, its tender green leaves looking vibrant in the sunlight. On the desk lay several thick programming books neatly arranged, the text on their spines slightly faded—marks left from Little Coder flipping through them countless times.

而在房间的正中央，一个庞大的“朋友们”——一台银灰色的电脑显示器正静静地站在那里，它的旁边是一把舒适的转椅，扶手上还有小码农妈妈特意缝制的小熊图案椅套。

And right in the center of the room stood a grand "friend"—a silver-gray computer monitor standing quietly, beside it a comfortable swivel chair with a little bear pattern cushion cover that Little Coder's mom had specially sewn.

“早安，电脑先生！”小码农像往常一样，热情地和他的朋友们打招呼，“今天我们要一起做什么有趣的事情呢？”

"Good morning, Mr. Computer!" Little Coder, as usual, enthusiastically greeted his friends, "What fun stuff are we going to do together today?"

Little Coder pressed the computer's power button, and the screen immediately lit up with colorful rays of light. Along with a pleasant startup music, a cute cartoon character appeared on the screen—a little cat wearing glasses, looking at Little Coder with a smile.

“小码农，早上好呀！”屏幕上的小猫挥了挥爪子，“我是你的编程助手——小喵。今天我们要学习什么新东西呢？”

"Little Coder, good morning!" The cat on the screen waved its paw, "I'm your programming assistant—Xiao Miao. What new stuff are we going to learn today?"

“早安，小喵！”小码农一屁股坐进转椅里，转了两圈，然后正襟危坐，“我想学一个超级厉害的技能！我想让电脑跟我说'Hello, World!'——你知道吗？我听说这是所有程序员写的第一行代码！”

"Good morning, Xiao Miao!" Little Coder plopped down into the swivel chair, spun around twice, then sat up straight and proper, "I want to learn a super cool skill! I want to make the computer say 'Hello, World!'—Do you know? I heard this is the first line of code every programmer writes!"

屏幕上出现了许多个惊叹号的动画效果，那是小喵在表示惊喜和兴奋：“太棒了！Hello, World! 可是编程世界最神圣的入门仪式呢！小码农，你准备好了吗？让我们开始吧！”

Many exclamation marks appeared in animated effects on the screen, as Xiao Miao expressed surprise and excitement: "Awesome! Hello, World! That's the most sacred initiation ritual in the programming world! Little Coder, are you ready? Let's begin!"

💻 什么是代码？代码是什么？

小码农深吸一口气，双手兴奋地在键盘上摩拳擦掌。

Little Coder took a deep breath, rubbing his palms together excitedly over the keyboard.

“小喵，在开始之前，我想问一个问题，”小码农歪着脑袋，好奇地问道，“到底什么是代码呀？为什么我们能让电脑听我们的话呢？”

"Xiao Miao, before we start, I have a question," Little Coder tilted his head, asking curiously, "What exactly is code? Why can we make the computer listen to us?"

小喵在屏幕上眨了眨眼睛，露出一个神秘的笑容：“小码农，你有没有想过，电脑其实是一个超级大笨蛋？”

Xiao Miao blinked its eyes on the screen and wore a mysterious smile: "Little Coder, have you ever thought that a computer is actually a super big dummy?"

“大笨蛋？”小码农瞪大了眼睛，“可是电脑看起来那么厉害呀！它能播放动画片，能播放音乐，能画画，还能和我聊天呢！”

"A dummy?" Little Coder's eyes widened, "But computers look so amazing! They can play cartoons, play music, draw pictures, and even chat with me!"

“没错，电脑确实能做很多很多事情，”小喵点点头，“但是你知道吗？电脑其实只能做一件最最基本的事情——它只能理解'是'或者'否'，也就是'开'或者'关'。”

"That's right, computers can do many, many things," Xiao Miao nodded, "But you know what? A computer can actually only do one most fundamental thing—it can only understand 'yes' or 'no', which is 'on' or 'off'."

小码农皱起了小眉头，这个概念对他来说有点难以理解。

Little Coder furrowed his little brow—this concept was a bit hard for him to understand.

Xiao Miao seemed to sense Little Coder's confusion, and it pulled out a small prop from its pocket—a flashlight.

"Little Coder, look at this flashlight," Xiao Miao held up the flashlight, "When we press the switch, it lights up. We can call this 'on' state '1'. When we press it again, it goes out. We can call this 'off' state '0'."

"I get it now!" Little Coder's eyes lit up, "So computers work by using lots and lots of these '1's and '0's!"
