Coco had a pair of round, bright brown eyes and a soft, fluffy body that looked like a walking cloud of cotton candy. Every morning, when golden sunlight slipped quietly through the window, little bear Coco would rub his eyes and stretch one big, satisfying stretch.
"爸爸呢？"可可歪着小脑袋问妈妈。
"Where's Dad?" Coco asked his mother, tilting his little head.
"爸爸去上班啦，"熊妈妈温柔地说，"但是他很快就回来。"
"Daddy's at work," Mama Bear said gently. "But he'll be back soon."
可可撅起嘴巴。他不明白，为什么爸爸每天都要去上班呢？为什么不能像电视里的小鸟儿一样，一直待在窝里陪着家人呢？
Coco puckered his little mouth. He didn't understand why Daddy had to go to work every day. Why couldn't he stay home with the family like the little birds on TV, who never left their nest?

"可可，今天我们一起搭积木好不好？"爸爸说。
"Coco, shall we build blocks together today?" Daddy asked.
可可的眼睛一下子亮了起来。他最喜欢搭积木了！可是平时都是自己一个人搭，好不容易搭得高高的，一不小心就会倒下来，让他难过好久。
Coco's eyes lit up immediately. He loved building with blocks! But usually, he had to build alone. When he finally got them tall, one careless moment would send them tumbling down, making him sad for a long time.
"太好了！"可可跳下床，兴奋地跑到积木箱前。
"Great!" Coco jumped out of bed and ran excitedly to the block box.
爸爸帮可可把积木一块一块地搬到地毯上。红色的、蓝色的、黄色的积木在阳光下闪闪发光，像一群等待被拼凑的小精灵。
Daddy helped Coco carry the blocks one by one to the carpet. Red, blue, and yellow blocks sparkled in the sunlight like little spirits waiting to be assembled.
"来，我们先搭地基！"爸爸蹲在地毯上，和可可一起开始建造。
"Come on, let's build the foundation first!" Daddy squatted down on the carpet and started building together with Coco.
可可负责找积木，爸爸负责思考怎么搭。不一会儿，一座小小的城堡就出现在他们面前。城堡有高高的塔楼，有弯弯的门洞，还有一个小小的花园。
Coco was in charge of finding the right blocks, while Daddy figured out how to arrange them. In no time, a little castle appeared before them. The castle had tall towers, arched doorways, and a tiny garden.
"哇！"可可惊叹道，"这座城堡好漂亮啊！"
"Wow!" Coco exclaimed, "This castle is so beautiful!"
爸爸揉了揉可可毛茸茸的小脑袋，说："这是我们一起搭的，所以特别漂亮。"
Daddy ruffled Coco's fluffy little head and said, "It's because we built it together, so it's especially beautiful."
可可歪着头想了想。真的吗？可是那些积木也很漂亮啊，单独看的时候也很漂亮。但是他仔细看了看城堡，又看了看爸爸，忽然明白了——城堡之所以这么漂亮，不只是因为积木，更是因为有爸爸和他一起。
Coco tilted his head and thought. Was that really true? But those blocks were beautiful too, even on their own. But when he looked carefully at the castle, then at Daddy, he suddenly understood—the castle was beautiful not just because of the blocks, but because Daddy built it with him.
"爸爸，"可可认真地说，"我懂了！陪伴是最好的礼物，比任何玩具都珍贵！"
"Daddy," Coco said earnestly, "I get it! Companionship is the best gift, more precious than any toy!"

爸爸在后面稳稳地扶住自行车，可可开始试着踩踏板。一下，两下，三下……自行车歪歪扭扭地往前走，像一只刚学会走路的小鸭子。
Daddy steadily held the bicycle from behind, and Coco began trying to pedal. One, two, three pumps... The bicycle wobbled forward like a little duck just learning to walk.
"加油，可可！你在做得很棒！"爸爸在后面大声喊。
"You can do it, Coco! You're doing great!" Daddy shouted from behind.
可可听到爸爸的声音，心里暖暖的。他不再那么害怕了，继续用力踩着踏板。慢慢地，自行车越骑越稳了。
When Coco heard Daddy's voice, his heart felt warm. He wasn't so scared anymore and kept pumping the pedals hard. Slowly, the bicycle rode more and more steadily.

"Daddy, can I ride by myself now?" Coco asked excitedly.

"Of course!" Daddy let go and stood still. "You try it!"
可可深吸一口气，开始自己骑。刚开始有一点晃，但是很快他就找到了平衡！风呼呼地从耳边吹过，自行车稳稳地向前飞驰。
Coco took a deep breath and started riding alone. It wobbled a little at first, but he quickly found his balance! Wind whistled past his ears as the bicycle flew steadily forward.
"我会骑车啦！"可可开心地大喊。
"I can ride a bike!" Coco shouted happily.
爸爸站在远处，啪啪啪地鼓掌。可可骑回来的时候，看到爸爸的眼睛亮亮的，好像比自己还要开心。
Daddy stood in the distance, clapping loudly. When Coco rode back, he saw Daddy's eyes were sparkling, as if Daddy was even happier than Coco.

"Daddy, thank you!" Coco jumped off the bicycle and pounced into Daddy's arms.

Daddy picked up Coco and spun him around in a circle. "You know what, Coco? Daddy is happier seeing you learn to ride a bike than anything else."
