In China, ancient stargazers noticed seven bright stars forming a shape like a big dipper, which they called the "Big Dipper" (北斗七星, Běidǒu Qīxīng). They believed it was a celestial ladle used by the Emperor of Heaven to pour out the elixir of life. These stories aren’t just fairy tales—they’re cultural memories, painted across the sky.

Why does Cancer look so fuzzy? Because in myth, Cancer was a crab that helped Hera; though it sacrificed itself, it was rewarded with a place among the stars.
