The sky of Letter Kingdom is a soft lavender purple, and the clouds are fluffy and soft like cotton candy. In the distance stands a sparkling crystal castle, with its walls inlaid with various gems, each carved with a beautiful letter. The entire kingdom is surrounded by a winding rainbow river, whose water sings a jingling song that sounds just like reciting the alphabet!

🧚 认识拼读小精灵Pippy
Meeting Pippy the Phonics Sprite
在字母王国里，住着一位特别可爱的小精灵，她的名字叫Pippy，大家都亲热地叫她拼读小精灵皮皮。Pippy有一头卷卷的金色头发，像刚出炉的面包一样蓬松柔软。她扎着两个俏皮的小揪揪，上面系着彩虹颜色的蝴蝶结。她的大眼睛忽闪忽闪的，像两颗亮晶晶的紫葡萄。
In Letter Kingdom lives a particularly cute little sprite. Her name is Pippy, and everyone affectionately calls her Phonics Sprite Pippy. Pippy has curly golden hair, as soft and fluffy as freshly baked bread. She ties her hair into two playful pigtails, with rainbow-colored bows on top. Her big eyes sparkle like two bright purple grapes.
Pippy穿着一件淡蓝色的蓬蓬裙，裙子上绣着26个闪闪发光的小字母，就像一群快乐的小星星在跳舞。她的脚上穿着一双红宝石一样亮晶晶的小皮鞋，走起路来发出清脆的"叮叮"声。她的背后还有一对透明的翅膀，翅膀上沾着闪闪的魔法粉，在阳光下折射出七彩的光芒。
Pippy wears a light blue puffy dress embroidered with 26 sparkling little letters, like a group of happy little stars dancing. On her feet are ruby-red sparkling little shoes that make crisp "ding-ding" sounds when she walks. On her back are transparent wings dusted with sparkling magic powder, reflecting colorful light in the sunshine.
Pippy最喜欢做的事情就是在字母王国里到处飞翔，帮助每一个刚出生的小字母找到自己的家，认识自己的形状和声音。她还有一根神奇的魔法棒，棒子上镶嵌着一颗会变色的彩虹宝石。当她用魔法棒轻轻一点，小字母们就会发出美妙的声响，组合成各种各样的词语和故事。
What Pippy loves doing most is flying around Letter Kingdom, helping every newly-born little letter find its home and learn its shape and sound. She also has a magical wand, with a color-changing rainbow gemstone embedded in it. When she taps gently with her wand, the little letters make wonderful sounds and combine into various words and stories.

The Castle of Letter Kingdom
今天，Pippy要带一位特别的小客人参观字母王国。是谁呢？就是你呀，亲爱的小读者！Pippy早早地就站在城堡的大门前等你啦，她兴奋地挥动着小翅膀，魔法棒在空中画出一个闪亮的字母A。
Today, Pippy is going to show a very special little guest around Letter Kingdom. Who could it be? It's you, dear reader! Pippy was already standing at the castle's grand gate early in the morning waiting for you. She excitedly waved her little wings, and her magic wand drew a shining letter A in the air.
“快来快来！”Pippy开心地喊道，她的声音像铃铛一样清脆悦耳，“让我带你认识字母王国的所有居民吧！”
"Come, come!" Pippy happily called out, her voice as clear and pleasant as a bell, "Let me introduce you to all the residents of Letter Kingdom!"
跟着Pippy穿过城堡的大门，首先映入眼帘的是一条铺满彩色鹅卵石的大道。这些鹅卵石可不普通，每一颗上面都印着一个字母，从A一直排到Z，五颜六色的，像一道美丽的彩虹。Pippy蹦蹦跳跳地走在前面，一边走一边数：
Following Pippy through the castle's gate, the first thing you see is a wide avenue paved with colorful cobblestones. These cobblestones are special—each one has a letter printed on it, from A all the way to Z, colorful like a beautiful rainbow. Pippy hopped and skipped ahead, counting as she walked:
"A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z！"
这就是大名鼎鼎的字母表啦！一共26个字母，每一个都是字母王国里最最重要的宝贝！

The Big Letter Family
Pippy带你来到城堡的大厅，这里正在进行一场热闹的欢迎会。26个字母居民全都到齐了，他们排成整整齐齐的两排，一排是大写字母，一排是小写字母，就像两支神气的小军队。
Pippy leads you to the castle's grand hall, where a lively welcome party is underway. All 26 letter residents are here, standing in neat rows—one row of capital letters and one row of lowercase letters, just like two proud little armies.
“让我来给你介绍介绍吧！”Pippy眨眨眼睛，魔法棒轻轻一挥，大厅里立刻出现了26个闪闪发光的小身影。
"Let me introduce them to you!" Pippy blinked her eyes and gently waved her magic wand. Immediately, 26 sparkling little figures appeared in the hall.
🌟 大写字母家族 Capital Letters
第一排站着的是大写字母，他们是字母王国的哥哥姐姐们，个个长得高高大大的，特别有精神。大写字母主要用于句子的开头、人名和地名。
The first row are the Capital Letters. They are the big brothers and sisters of Letter Kingdom, all tall and energetic. Capital letters are mainly used at the beginning of sentences, in names and place names.
Pippy指着排在最前面的字母说：
Pippy pointed to the letter standing at the very front and said:
“你看，这是字母A！他是大写字母家族的老大，因为他排在字母表的第一位。看看他的样子，像不像一座尖尖的小山？或者像一顶可爱的三角形帽子？”Pippy用魔法棒点了点A，A立刻发出"啊——"的声音，像是在和大家打招呼呢！
"Look, this is the letter A! He's the eldest in the capital letter family because he comes first in the alphabet. Look at his shape—doesn't he look like a pointed little mountain? Or maybe a cute triangular hat?" Pippy tapped A with her wand, and A immediately made an "ah—" sound, as if greeting everyone!
“接下来是B，他有两个圆鼓鼓的小肚子，像两个连在一起的小气球。再往后是C，他的形状像弯弯的月亮。D呢，像一面圆圆的鼓。还有E，他有好几条横杠，像是有四只手在打招呼！”Pippy一边说一边用魔法棒在空中画出每个字母的形状，闪闪的光芒在空中飞舞。
"Next is B, who has two round little bellies, like two little balloons stuck together. Then C, whose shape is like a curved moon. D looks like a round drum. And E, he has several horizontal lines, as if waving hello with four hands!" As Pippy spoke, she drew each letter's shape in the air with her wand, and glittering light danced in the air.
字母们听了Pippy的介绍，都开心地晃动起来，像是在表演一场欢快的舞蹈。
The letters, upon hearing Pippy's introductions, all happily wobbled about, as if performing a joyful dance.
🌱 小写字母家族 Lowercase Letters
“现在让我们认识一下小写字母吧！”Pippy飞到了另一排前面，“小写字母是大写字母的弟弟妹妹，他们长得稍微小巧一些，但是在平时的书写中用得可多啦！”
"Now let's meet the lowercase letters!" Pippy flew to the front of another row. "Lowercase letters are the little brothers and sisters of capital letters. They're a bit smaller in shape, but they're used very frequently in everyday writing!"
Pippy指着小写的a说：“小写的a和它的大哥长得不太一样呢！大A像一座尖山，小a却像一个圆圆的苹果，上面还带着一个小小的把手。”她用魔法棒点了点小a，小a害羞地发出"啊——"的声音。
Pippy pointed to the lowercase a and said: "The lowercase a doesn't look quite like its big brother! The capital A looks like a pointed mountain, but the lowercase a looks like a round apple with a tiny handle on top." She tapped the lowercase a with her wand, and the little a shyly made an "ah—" sound.
“看看小写的b，”Pippy继续说，“他有一根长长的天线，从肚子里伸出来。而小写的d正好相反，他的天线长在右边。小朋友们可以这样记：b的肚子在左边，d的肚子在右边，它们是一对可爱的好朋友！”Pippy说着说着，两个字母竟然真的手拉手跳起舞来。
"Look at the lowercase b," Pippy continued, "he has a long antenna sticking out from his belly. The lowercase d is the opposite—his antenna is on the right side. Little friends, you can remember it this way: b's belly is on the left, d's belly is on the right. They're a cute pair of good friends!" As Pippy spoke, the two letters really did hold hands and dance together!
小写字母们一个个都兴奋地闪烁起来，发出自己独特的声音。整个大厅充满了欢声笑语。
The lowercase letters all excitedly twinkled one by one, making their unique sounds. The whole hall was filled with laughter and joy.
