In the early morning, the first rays of sunlight pierced through the mists of Wisdom Valley, casting a gentle golden glow over this famous valley in the Rainbow Kingdom. Dewdrops still clung to the tips of grass blades, sparkling like countless tiny diamonds scattered across a green velvet carpet. In the distance, the peaks of Wisdom Mountain displayed a soft purple hue in the dawn light, with a few white clouds drifting lazily along its slopes.
三只小青蛙蹲在池塘边的睡莲叶上，兴奋地讨论着什么。他们的眼睛瞪得圆圆的，声音里带着掩饰不住的兴奋。
Three little frogs sat on the lily pads at the pond's edge, excitedly discussing something. Their eyes were wide open, and their voices carried barely containable excitement.

"Let me tell you," the biggest little frog lowered his voice and said, "I heard the Wise Owl talking with the Old Oak Tree last night. They said the Rainbow Kingdom is about to have a big project!"
“大项目？什么大项目？”另外两只小青蛙齐声问道。
"Big project? What kind of big project?" the other two little frogs asked in unison.
“这个嘛，”那只消息灵通的小青蛙神秘地眨眨眼，“它们没有说。但是它们提到了三个名字——Ruby、Sam和Koko。好像这个项目和这三个小伙伴有关呢！”
"That," the well-informed little frog blinked mysteriously, "they didn't say. But they mentioned three names—Ruby, Sam, and Koko. It seems like this project has something to do with these three little friends!"
就在这时，一阵轻快的脚步声从森林小径传来。三只小青蛙转头望去，只见一个小小的身影在树丛间灵活地跳跃着，所过之处留下一串银铃般的笑声。
Just then, a light footstep came from the forest path. The three little frogs turned to look, and saw a small figure leaping nimbly through the bushes, leaving behind a trail of silver bell-like laughter.
“哎呀，那是谁？”一只小青蛙好奇地问。
"Oh, who is that?" one of the little frogs asked curiously.
“让我来告诉你们吧，”那只消息灵通的小青蛙清了清嗓子，脸上露出得意的笑容，“那就是Ruby——敏捷小兔！她是智慧谷最出名的小兔子。不，不对，应该说她是整个彩虹王国最出名的小兔子！”
"Let me tell you," the well-informed little frog cleared his throat, a proud smile spreading across his face, "that is Ruby—the Agile Bunny! She is the most famous little rabbit in Wisdom Valley. No, wait, I should say she is the most famous little rabbit in the entire Rainbow Kingdom!"
Ruby穿着一件淡粉色的运动短裙，耳朵上系着两个小小的蝴蝶结，脚上穿着一双轻便的白色跑鞋。她的动作快极了——快得你几乎看不清她的身影，只能看到一串模糊的粉色光点从一棵树跳到另一棵树。
Ruby wore a light pink athletic skirt, little bow ties on her ears, and lightweight white running shoes on her feet. She moved so fast—almost too fast to see clearly, like a trail of blurry pink dots leaping from one tree to another.
“早安，小青蛙们！”Ruby轻盈地落在池塘边的一块大石头上，热情地挥着她的小爪子，“今天天气真好啊！你们的爸爸妈妈呢？”
"Good morning, little frogs!" Ruby landed lightly on a big stone by the pond, waving her little paw enthusiastically. "What wonderful weather today! Where are your parents?"
“Ruby姐姐！”三只小青蛙齐声说，“我们的爸爸妈妈去参加彩虹桥的维护会议了。我们听说彩虹王国要有一个大项目，你知道是怎么回事吗？”
"Ruby sister!" the three little frogs said together. "Our parents went to a Rainbow Bridge maintenance meeting. We heard that the Rainbow Kingdom is going to have a big project. Do you know what it's about?"
Ruby歪着脑袋想了想，然后摇摇头：“大项目？我也很期待呢！不过今天早上我有更重要的事情要做——我要去参加Scrum船长Sam的欢迎会！听说他从海盗群岛回来了，还带回了好多好多关于航海的秘密！”
Ruby tilted her head and thought for a moment, then shook her head. "Big project? I'm excited about that too! But I have something more important to do this morning—I'm going to Captain Sam's welcome party! I heard he came back from the Pirate Islands and brought back lots and lots of secrets about sailing!"
“欢迎会？在哪儿？”三只小青蛙急切地问。
"Welcome party? Where?" the three little frogs asked eagerly.
“在智慧谷的中央广场！就是那棵大橡树下面！”Ruby兴奋地跳了起来，“你们要一起来吗？”
"At Wisdom Valley's central square! Under the big oak tree!" Ruby jumped up excitedly. "Do you all want to come?"
三只小青蛙对视一眼，眼睛里闪烁着兴奋的光芒：“当然要去！我们最喜欢Sam船长讲故事了！”
The three little frogs looked at each other, excitement sparkling in their eyes. "Of course! We love when Captain Sam tells stories!"
于是，小青蛙们跳上Ruby的肩膀，和她一起向智慧谷中央广场的方向跳去。一路上，Ruby的身影快得惊人，而三只小青蛙则紧紧抓住她的耳朵——不是因为害怕，而是因为Ruby跳得太快，他们跟不上！
So the little frogs jumped onto Ruby's shoulders, and together they hopped toward Wisdom Valley's central square. Along the way, Ruby's figure was amazingly fast, while the three little frogs clung tightly to her ears—not because they were scared, but because Ruby hopped so fast they couldn't keep up!
当你穿过智慧谷的森林时，你会看到各种各样的奇妙事物。巨大的蘑菇像小房子一样矗立着，每一株都闪烁着不同的颜色——有的是温暖的橙黄色，像一盏盏小灯笼；有的是凉爽的蓝色，像一片片薄薄的冰晶。还有会唱歌的花朵，它们随着微风轻轻摇摆，唱着只有心灵纯净的生物才能听懂的歌。
As you walk through the forest of Wisdom Valley, you can see all sorts of wonderful things. Giant mushrooms stand like little houses, each glowing with a different color—some are warm orange-yellow, like little lanterns; others are cool blue, like thin crystals. There are also singing flowers, swaying gently with the breeze, singing songs that only pure-hearted creatures can understand.
Ruby带着小青蛙们穿过这片神奇的森林。她一边跳一边介绍：“那朵蓝色的是思维花，闻了它会让你变得更聪明！那边那朵黄色的是快乐花，只要看它一眼，你就会忍不住微笑！”
Ruby led the little frogs through this magical forest. As she hopped, she introduced them to everything: "That blue one is a Thought Flower—smelling it makes you smarter! That yellow one over there is a Joy Flower—just looking at it makes you want to smile!"
“Ruby姐姐，那朵红色的呢？”最小的那只小青蛙好奇地问。
"Sister Ruby, what about that red one?" the smallest little frog asked curiously.
Ruby顺着小青蛙指的方向看去，看到一朵比她的耳朵还要红的花。那朵花的花瓣又大又厚实，在阳光下闪烁着绸缎般的光泽。
Ruby looked in the direction the little frog was pointing and saw a flower redder than her ears. The flower's petals were large and thick, glowing with a satin-like sheen in the sunlight.
“那是勇敢花，”Ruby的声音变得温柔起来，“它非常非常稀有。只有当你真正想要做好一件事、但又有点害怕的时候，你才会注意到它。”
"That," Ruby's voice grew gentle, "is a Courage Flower. It's very, very rare. You only notice it when you really want to do something well, but are also a little scared."
三只小青蛙若有所思地点点头。他们还小，不太明白“害怕”和“勇敢”的关系，但他们觉得Ruby姐姐说的肯定是有道理的。
The three little frogs nodded thoughtfully. They were still young and didn't quite understand the relationship between "fear" and "courage," but they believed that whatever Sister Ruby said must make sense.

After passing through the forest, the view suddenly opened up. The three little frogs gasped in amazement—they had arrived at Wisdom Valley's central square.
中央广场是一个巨大的圆形空地，周围环绕着各种各样的树木和花朵。广场的中央站着一棵巨大的橡树，树干粗得需要二十只熊手拉手才能合抱，树枝向四面八方伸展，遮蔽了大半个广场。树冠上常年停着几只睿智的猫头鹰，他们眯着眼睛观察着谷中的一切。
The central square was a huge circular clearing, surrounded by all sorts of trees and flowers. In the center stood a giant oak tree, its trunk so thick that it would take twenty bear paws holding hands to encircle it. Its branches stretched in all directions, shading most of the square. Several wise owls permanently perched in the canopy, squinting as they observed everything in the valley.
今天，大橡树下面聚集了好多好多的动物。有蹦蹦跳跳的小兔子，有游泳健将小鸭子，有力大无穷的小熊，还有聪明伶俐的小狐狸……大家都在兴奋地交谈着，眼睛不时地望向大橡树最高的那根树枝。
Today, many, many animals had gathered under the giant oak. There were hopping little rabbits, swimming champion ducklings, strong little bears, clever little foxes... Everyone was excitedly chatting, their eyes frequently glancing toward the highest branch of the big oak tree.
“看来我们不是唯一得到消息的！”Ruby笑着说，“大家都来欢迎Sam船长啦！”
"It looks like we're not the only ones who got the news!" Ruby laughed. "Everyone came to welcome Captain Sam!"
就在这时，一阵嘹亮的号角声从大橡树的最高处响起。那声音高亢而悠扬，穿透了整个广场，让所有的动物都安静下来，纷纷抬头望去。
Just then, a loud horn blast rang out from the very top of the giant oak tree. The sound was bright and melodious, piercing through the entire square, causing all the animals to fall silent and look up.

On the highest branch stood a little squirrel wearing a pirate hat. His hat was deep blue, and on its brim was a glittering gold badge—a little sailing ship design. Around his neck was a red and white striped scarf, and in his hand was a small copper horn.
“各位朋友们！”Sam——也就是Scrum船长——用他响亮的声音喊道，“欢迎大家来到我的欢迎会！我从遥远的海盗群岛回来了，带回了许多许多的故事和宝藏！”
