Chapter 1: The Beginning of Adventure - The Call of the Kingdom of Efficiency
窗外的阳光明媚得有些过分，小明却完全没有心思欣赏。这个周末本该是属于游戏和动画的美好时光，然而此刻，他正对着一屏幕乱七八糟的文件发呆，眼睛里写满了绝望。
The sunshine outside the window was a bit too bright, but Xiao Ming had no mood to appreciate it. This weekend should have been a wonderful time for games and cartoons, but right now, he was staring blankly at a chaotic mess of files on the screen, his eyes full of despair.

The trouble started three days ago. Xiao Ming's mom was a middle school teacher who collected lots of teaching materials—lectures, exam papers, student assignments, educational videos... Over time, these files scattered across every corner of the computer. Some were called "New Folder (2)", others "Untitled", and some were simply incomprehensible symbols and numbers.
“儿子，妈妈电脑里的文件太乱了，你能帮妈妈整理一下吗？”周五晚上，妈妈端着水果盘走过来，语气里带着一丝歉意，“就是大概……几百个文件吧，需要分类、重命名、归入不同的文件夹。”
"Son, the files on mom's computer are a mess. Can you help me organize them?" Mom walked over with a plate of fruit on Friday evening, her tone carrying a hint of apology, "It's about... several hundred files that need to be categorized, renamed, and sorted into different folders."

To make things worse, these files were scattered across the desktop, the Downloads folder, the Documents folder, and even a few hiding in the C drive root directory. Xiao Ming tried manually categorizing a few files and realized that renaming just these hundreds of files would take several hours, not to mention determining which category each file should go into.
“这样做下去，我这个周末就全毁了！”小明绝望地喊道，把头埋进了手臂里。

时间一分一秒地过去，窗外的阳光从金色变成了橘红色，又慢慢暗淡下去。小明机械地重复着“右键→重命名→输入新名字→确认”的操作，手指开始发酸，眼睛开始发涩，脑子里嗡嗡作响。他开始怀疑人生——难道这就是他美好的周末该有的样子吗？
Time ticked by, the golden sunlight outside turning orange-red and slowly fading. Xiao Ming mechanically repeated the "right-click → rename → type new name → confirm" operation, his fingers growing sore, his eyes growing tired, his mind buzzing. He began to question life itself—was this really what his wonderful weekend should look like?
就在小明快要彻底崩溃的时候，意想不到的事情发生了。

神秘的召唤 / The Mysterious Call

A soft chime sounded.
一声清脆的提示音从小明的电脑音箱里传出。他抬起头，发现屏幕上不知何时出现了一个闪烁的光点。那个光点起初很小，像是屏幕上沾了一粒灰尘，但很快就开始膨胀，变得越来越亮，散发出一种奇异而温暖的蓝色光芒。
A crisp notification sound came from Xiao Ming's computer speakers. He looked up and noticed a flickering point of light that had appeared on the screen out of nowhere. The light was tiny at first, like a speck of dust on the screen, but it quickly began to expand, growing brighter and brighter, emanating a strange yet warm blue glow.
“这……这是什么？”小明揉了揉眼睛，以为自己看花了眼。
"What... what's this?" Xiao Ming rubbed his eyes, thinking he was seeing things.

The point of light continued to expand, quickly covering most of the screen. Those chaotic file icons flickered in and out of the light, like treasures being pulled up from the seabed. Suddenly, the light flashed brilliantly, illuminating the entire room, and Xiao Ming couldn't help but close his eyes.
当他再次睁开眼睛时，发现自己置身于一个完全不同的世界。
When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a completely different world.

He was still sitting in front of the computer, but everything around him had changed. The room was still his room, but the air was filled with a soft glow, like fireflies dancing in the darkness. Those messy file icons were no longer headache-inducing; they had become tiny glowing orbs, floating in the air, waiting to be placed in their correct positions.
而在电脑屏幕的正中央，一个身穿闪闪发光长袍的卡通形象正微笑着看着他。那形象既像是一位古老的智者，又像是一个友好的魔法师，圆圆的脸上洋溢着温暖的笑容。
And in the center of the computer screen, a cartoon figure dressed in a gleaming robe smiled warmly at him. The figure looked both like an ancient sage and a friendly wizard, its round face beaming with a warm smile.
“欢迎来到效率王国，年轻的勇士！”那个形象开口说话了，声音温和而充满力量，像是远处传来的钟声，“我是效率王国的守护者，你可以叫我'小效'。”
"Welcome to the Kingdom of Efficiency, young warrior!" the figure spoke, its voice gentle yet powerful, like a bell ringing from afar, "I am the guardian of the Kingdom of Efficiency. You may call me 'Xiao Xiao'."
小明张大了嘴巴，一时间不知道该说什么。他下意识地捏了一下自己的手臂——疼！这不是做梦！
Xiao Ming opened his mouth wide, at a loss for words. He unconsciously pinched his arm—it hurt! This wasn't a dream!
“你……你是谁？这是怎么回事？”小明终于找回了自己的声音。
"You... who are you? What's going on?" Xiao Ming finally found his voice.
小效挥了挥手中的魔法棒，周围的景象随之变化。小明看到，在那些漂浮的光球旁边，出现了许多他从未见过的画面：有人在几秒钟内整理了成千上万个文件，有人在眨眼间处理了堆积如山的数据，还有人在分分钟内完成了原本需要几天才能做完的工作报告。
Xiao Xiao waved the magic wand in its hand, and the surrounding scenery shifted accordingly. Xiao Ming saw, beside those floating orbs, many scenes he had never seen before: someone organizing thousands of files in seconds, someone processing mountains of data in the blink of an eye, and someone completing work reports that would normally take days, all within minutes.
