After careful selection and numerous tests, little Leo had been chosen as the next leader because of his courage, wisdom, and kindness. The news made Leo both excited and nervous—he had never been a leader before, and he wasn't sure if he could do the job.

Leo stood at the entrance of his small den, taking a deep breath of the cool morning air. His mane fluttered gently in the breeze, displaying a brilliant golden color in the sunlight. Although he was still young, his mane had begun to grow thick and full, a sign of a lion coming of age.

"Lily, why are you here so early?" Leo asked, while using his paw to tidy up his mane.

Every time I stood in front of a tall rock, I would think: Can I really jump up there? But later I discovered that only by bravely taking the first step can you know how high you can actually jump."
