"Oh my!" Xiao Ming nearly jumped out of his chair. "What... what is this?"

"Don't be scared, little friend!" a clear and pleasant voice spoke up. "I'm not a bad person, nor some strange program. My name is Xiao Zhi, a messenger from the Web Kingdom!"

小明瞪大了眼睛，嘴巴张成了一个圆圆的O型。他看着眼前这个奇怪的生物——它大约有一个足球那么大，全身由银色的金属构成，圆滚滚的身体上嵌着一双蓝色的大眼睛，头顶还有两根可以摆动的天线。

*Xiao Ming's eyes widened, his mouth forming a perfect O shape. He looked at this strange creature before him—it was about the size of a soccer ball, made entirely of silver metal, with a pair of large blue eyes embedded in its round body, and two antennae on its head that could wiggle back and forth.*

“你...你是机器人？”小明结结巴巴地问道。

"Are... are you a robot?" Xiao Ming asked stammering.*

“完全正确！”小智得意地转了个圈，“我是一台智能机器人，专门在互联网的世界里巡逻，帮助那些对Web王国好奇的小朋友！”

"Exactly right!" Xiao Zhi proudly spun in a circle. "I'm an intelligent robot, specially designed to patrol the world of the internet and help children who are curious about the Web Kingdom!"

“Web王国？那是什么地方？”小明的好奇心瞬间被点燃了。

"Web Kingdom? What's that place?" Xiao Ming's curiosity was instantly sparked.*

小智的眼睛闪闪发光：“那可是一个神奇的地方！由HTML王国、CSS王国和JavaScript王国组成。每一个王国都有自己独特的魔法和能力，它们共同创造出了你在电脑上、手机上看到的每一个网页！”

小明听得入了迷，他完全忘记了这是在教室里，忘记了周围还有正在认真做电脑作业的同学们。他的全部注意力都被小智和那个神秘的Web王国吸引住了。

“小智，你能告诉我网页到底是怎么工作的吗？”小明迫不及待地问道，“为什么我打开一个网址，就能看到这么多内容？”

"Xiao Zhi, can you tell me how web pages actually work?" Xiao Ming asked eagerly. "Why can I see so much content just by opening a web address?"

小智慢慢降落到小明面前的键盘上，用它的小手指了指屏幕上的网页。

*Xiao Zhi slowly descended onto the keyboard in front of Xiao Ming and pointed at the webpage on the screen with its tiny fingers.*
