Imagine you are reading a very, very special book. This book is not an ordinary book! When you turn each page, magical things happen. The pictures in the book come alive, the characters can talk, and you can even chat with them and play games together! Doesn't that sound incredible? But I want to tell you a little secret—all these magical things wouldn't be possible without something called "code."

In Code Kingdom, there live many clever and cute little sprites. They have all kinds of abilities: some can draw, some can sing, some can dance, and some can help you solve super difficult problems. These little sprites are programmers' most helpful assistants, and their name is Object. Don't let the simple name fool you—they are the most important little residents in this magical world!

城堡区（The Castle District） 是代码王国的核心地带，就像真正城堡里的国王坐在王座上管理整个国家一样，这里是程序运行指挥的中心。当你在电脑上点击一个按钮，或者在手机上滑动屏幕时，就是这里的“小指挥官”在协调一切。

The Castle District is the core of Code Kingdom. Just like a real king sits on his throne to manage the entire kingdom, this is where the program runs and commands everything. When you click a button on your computer or swipe your phone screen, it's the "little commander" here coordinating everything.

创意工坊（Creative Workshop） 是程序员们工作的地方，就像木匠有木工坊，陶艺家有陶艺坊一样。程序员们在这里使用特殊的“魔法语言”——也就是代码——来创造各种各样的程序。

The Creative Workshop is where programmers work. Just like carpenters have their workshops and potters have their studios, programmers use special "magic language"—which is code—to create all kinds of programs here.

精灵森林（Sprite Forest） 是最最神奇的地方！因为这里住着我们的主角——各种各样的“小精灵”。每一棵大树上都住着不同的小精灵，它们有各自的名字、性格和本领。森林里还有一条小溪流过，溪水清澈见底，里面游动着代表数据的小鱼儿。

Sprite Forest is the most magical place! Because this is where our protagonists live—the various "little sprites." Each big tree is home to a different sprite, with its own name, personality, and abilities. There's also a stream flowing through the forest with clear water, and little fish representing data swim in it.

知识图书馆（Library of Knowledge） 存放着代码王国的所有知识。所有的信息、数据、规则都保存在这里。就像学校的图书馆有各种各样的书籍一样，这里保存着程序需要使用的所有信息。

The Library of Knowledge stores all the knowledge of Code Kingdom. All information, data, and rules are kept here. Just like a school library has various books, this place preserves all the information that programs need to use.

游乐场（Playground） 是测试程序的地方。程序员们在创意工坊里写好代码后，会带着他们的作品来到游乐场测试，看看程序是否工作正常，有没有小虫子（Bug）捣乱。

The Playground is where programs are tested. After programmers write their code in the Creative Workshop, they bring their creations to the Playground to test them, checking if the program works correctly and if there are any little bugs causing trouble.

👋 Meeting Xiaoqi and His Friends

在代码王国的入口处，有一个戴着蓝色帽子、穿着黄色背带裤的小男孩正在等待着我们。他的名字叫小奇（Xiaoqi），是代码王国里最聪明、最勇敢的小探险家。

At the entrance to Code Kingdom, a little boy wearing a blue hat and yellow overalls is waiting for us. His name is Xiaoqi, the smartest and bravest little explorer in Code Kingdom.

“嗨！你好呀！”小奇看到我们，兴奋地挥了挥手，“欢迎来到代码王国！我是这里的向导，今天就让我带你参观吧！”

"Hi! Hello there!" Xiaoqi waved excitedly when he saw us, "Welcome to Code Kingdom! I'm the guide here, and today I'll show you around!"

小奇虽然看起来和你我一样是个普通的小男孩，但在代码王国里，他有一个特殊的身份——他是一位对象（Object）！而且是所有对象中最特别的一个，因为他有自主思考和行动的能力。

Even though Xiaoqi looks like an ordinary little boy like you or me, in Code Kingdom, he has a special identity—he is an Object! And he's the most special of all objects because he has the ability to think and act independently.

“小奇，什么是对象呀？”我们好奇地问。

"Xiaoqi, what is an object?" we asked curiously.

“问得好！”小奇眨了眨眼睛，“让我介绍我的朋友们给你认识，你就明白了。”

"Good question!" Xiaoqi blinked, "Let me introduce my friends to you, and then you'll understand."

说着，小奇吹了一声口哨，森林里的小路上很快出现了两个身影……

With that, Xiaoqi whistled, and soon two figures appeared on the path through the forest...

第一个走来的是一个方方正正、闪闪发光的机器人。它有两只圆溜溜的眼睛，一个方形的脑袋，最有趣的是它的身体——居然是一个可以打开的大盒子！

The first one to walk over was a square, glowing robot. It had two round eyes, a square head, and the most interesting part was its body—it was a big box that could open!

“这是我的好朋友，机器人Robot！”小奇介绍道，“Robot的本领可大了，它会帮我们做很多很多事情！”

"This is my good friend, Robot!" Xiaoqi introduced, "Robot has so many abilities! It can help us do lots and lots of things!"

Robot用它那金属质感的声音说：“你好！我是Robot！我会走路、会说话、还会帮助小奇搬运东西！我身上有一个大大的肚子——哦不对，是储物箱，可以装下很多东西呢！”

Robot said in its metallic voice: "Hello! I'm Robot! I can walk, talk, and help Xiaoqi carry things! I have a big tummy—no wait, it's a storage box, and I can hold lots of stuff in it!"

“太酷了！”我们惊叹道。

"Cool!" we exclaimed.

就在这时，一个毛茸茸的、软软的小家伙从Robot的背后探出了脑袋。是一只会说话的小猫咪！它有着橙白相间的毛，尾巴悠闲地甩来甩去。

Just then, a furry, soft little creature poked its head out from behind Robot. It was a little talking cat! It had orange and white fur, and its tail swayed leisurely.

“还有我呢！”小猫咪用清脆的声音说，“我叫小猫咪Cat，是最可爱的小精灵！我会爬高、会抓老鼠、会喵喵叫，还会在小奇不开心的时候陪他玩耍！”

"And me too!" the kitten said in a clear voice, "I'm called Cat, the cutest little sprite! I can climb, catch mice, meow, and I can also play with Xiaoqi when he's sad!"

小奇笑着补充说：“Cat可是我们的小开心果呢！有它在，我们从来不会无聊！”

Xiaoqi added with a smile: "Cat is our little happiness maker! With her around, we're never bored!"

现在我们的小团队凑齐了：一个聪明的小男孩（小奇），一个勤劳的机器人（Robot），和一只可爱的小猫咪（Cat）。它们三个就是我们要认识的第一个“对象组（Class）”——一群有相似特征的小精灵！

Now our little team is complete: a clever little boy (Xiaoqi), a hardworking robot (Robot), and an adorable kitten (Cat). These three are the first "Class" we'll get to know—a group of little sprites with similar characteristics!
