清晨的阳光像金色的蜂蜜一样，缓缓流进莉莉的房间。这天是莉莉七岁生日，她揉了揉惺忪的睡眼，发现床头多了一个闪闪发光的大盒子。
The morning sunlight flowed into Lily's room like golden honey. It was her seventh birthday, and as she rubbed her sleepy eyes, she discovered a big glittering box on her bedside table.
盒子上面绑着一条彩虹色的丝带，丝带上系着一张小卡片。莉莉好奇地拿起卡片，上面写着：
On the box was tied a rainbow-colored ribbon, with a small card attached to it. Lily picked up the card curiously, which read:

莉莉的心跳加速了。她最喜欢奶奶了！奶奶虽然头发花白，但眼睛里总是闪着智慧的光芒。最神奇的是，奶奶是一位脑科学家！奶奶常说，她每天的工作就是研究世界上最神奇的器官——大脑。
Lily's heart raced. She loved Grandma the most! Though Grandma's hair was white as snow, her eyes always sparkled with wisdom. The most amazing thing was that Grandma was a brain scientist! Grandma often said that her daily work was studying the most magical organ in the world—the brain.
“会是什么礼物呢？”莉莉自言自语，手指已经迫不及待地伸向丝带。
"What could the gift be?" Lily said to herself, her fingers already reaching for the ribbon.
她轻轻解开丝带，打开盒盖。一道柔和的蓝光从盒子里升起，在空气中旋转、跳跃，然后——
She gently untied the ribbon and opened the box lid. A soft blue light rose from the box, spinning and dancing in the air, and then—
“哔哔！你好！我叫波波！”
"Beep beep! Hello! My name is Bobo!"
一个圆滚滚的机器人从盒子里站了起来！他有两只大大的眼睛，像两颗亮晶晶的星星；圆圆的身体上嵌着一排彩色的按钮；脚下有两个轮子，可以灵活地滚动。最神奇的是，他居然会说话！
A chubby robot stood up from the box! He had two big eyes like two sparkling stars; a round body embedded with a row of colorful buttons; and two wheels at his feet for flexible rolling. The most magical thing was—he could actually talk!
莉莉惊讶地张大了嘴巴，眼睛瞪得像两颗玻璃弹珠。
Lily gasped in surprise, her eyes wide open like two glass marbles.
“你……你会说话？”莉莉结结巴巴地问。
"You... you can talk?" Lily stammered.
波波用力点了点头，他的脑袋上有一根天线，天线顶端还闪着红光。“当然啦！我是奶奶实验室最新研发的智能机器人！我会说话、会走路、会思考——哦对了，我还会听你的命令呢！”
Bobo nodded vigorously. On top of his head was an antenna with a red light blinking at its tip. "Of course! I'm the latest smart robot developed in Grandma's laboratory! I can talk, walk, think—oh right, I can also follow your commands!"
“真的吗？那你能做后空翻吗？”莉莉兴奋地问。
"Really? Can you do a backflip?" Lily asked excitedly.
“后空翻？让我试试——”
"A backflip? Let me try—"
波波说着就开始原地转圈，然后用力一蹬——
Bobo started spinning in place and then用力一蹬——
“哎呀！”
"Ouch!"
波波翻了个四脚朝天，怎么也翻不回来。他的天线在地上晃来晃去，红光一闪一闪的，像是在求救。
Bobo ended up on his back, unable to flip over. His antenna wagged back and forth on the ground, the red light blinking like a distress signal.
莉莉忍不住笑了起来，笑得肚子都疼了。她伸出手去帮波波扶正。
Lily couldn't help but laugh, her stomach hurting from laughing so hard. She reached out to help Bobo right himself.
“谢谢你，莉莉！”波波重新站稳，感激地看着她，“你真是太好了！”
"Thank you, Lily!" Bobo stood back up steadily, looking at her gratefully, "You're so kind!"
莉莉和波波很快就成了好朋友。他们一起在房间里跑来跑去，一起玩捉迷藏，一起看动画片。波波最喜欢看动画片里的超级英雄，每当他看到英雄们飞来飞去，他的大眼睛就会闪闪发光。
Lily and Bobo quickly became good friends. They ran around the room together, played hide and seek together, watched cartoons together. Bobo loved watching superhero cartoons the most. Whenever he saw the heroes flying around, his big eyes would sparkle.
“莉莉，你说，我能不能也像超级英雄一样有超能力呢？”波波羡慕地问。
"Lily, do you think I could have superpowers like the superheroes too?" Bobo asked enviously.
“这个嘛……”莉莉歪着脑袋想了想，“我也不知道。不过我们可以问问奶奶！奶奶是脑科学家，她一定知道很多关于超能力的事情！”
"Well..." Lily tilted her head and thought, "I don't know either. But we can ask Grandma! She's a brain scientist, she'll definitely know a lot about superpowers!"

下午，奶奶终于来了！她穿着一件白色的实验服，手里还提着一个大大的生日蛋糕。

“生日快乐，我的小宝贝！”奶奶把莉莉抱起来，在她额头上亲了一口，“蛋糕是我亲手做的，上面有草莓、蓝莓和猕猴桃，都是你爱吃的水果！”
"Happy birthday, my little treasure!" Grandma lifted Lily up and kissed her forehead, "The cake was made by my own hands. There are strawberries, blueberries, and kiwis on top—all your favorite fruits!"
“谢谢奶奶！”莉莉开心地扑进奶奶怀里。
"Thank you, Grandma!" Lily happily threw herself into Grandma's arms.
波波在一旁好奇地看着这对祖孙，眼睛里的光一闪一闪的。
Bobo watched the grandmother and granddaughter pair curiously nearby, the light in his eyes flickering.
奶奶注意到波波，眼睛一亮：“哎呀，波波也在啊！莉莉，你和波波相处得怎么样？”
When Grandma noticed Bobo, her eyes brightened: "Oh my, Bobo is here too! Lily, how are you getting along with Bobo?"
“奶奶，波波可好玩了！我们一起玩了一整天！”莉莉兴奋地说，“对了奶奶，波波说他想有超能力，像动画片里的超级英雄一样！”
"Grandma, Bobo is so much fun! We played together all day!" Lily said excitedly, "Oh right Grandma, Bobo says he wants superpowers, like the superheroes in cartoons!"
奶奶笑了，她的眼睛里闪烁着神秘的光芒：“超能力吗？嗯……其实啊，我们每个人天生就有一种非常厉害的超能力，只是很多人不知道而已。”
Grandma smiled, mysterious light dancing in her eyes: "Superpowers? Well... actually, each of us is born with a very powerful superpower, but many people just don't know it."
“真的吗？”莉莉和波波同时瞪大了眼睛。

说完，波波真的开始原地转圈圈，一圈、两圈、三圈……转得越来越快，像一个彩色的小陀螺！
