🏠 What Is a Game Company? — Understanding the Magical Workshop
*Think about your favorite video game. Maybe it's an adventure game where you explore mysterious lands, or a puzzle game that makes you think, or a game where you build your own world. Now, who created all of that?*
*A game company is like a magical workshop where creative people called "game developers" work together to build the worlds you love to play in. But unlike regular workshops that build things you can touch, game developers build worlds made of light and sound — worlds you can see on screens and hear through speakers.*
*Inside a game company, there are many different types of "magical craftspeople" working together:*
- **Designers** are the dream-weavers who imagine new characters, new lands, and new adventures. They think about what would be fun and exciting for players.*
- **Artists** are the color-casters who bring the designs to life. They draw characters, paint backgrounds, and create the beautiful visuals you see in games.*
- **Programmers** are the spell-casters who write the magical code that makes everything work. When you press a button, it's the programmer's magic that tells your character to jump, run, or cast a spell.*
- **Musicians** are the sound-weavers who create the amazing music and sound effects that make games feel alive. Imagine playing your favorite game with the sound turned off — it wouldn't be the same, would it?*
- **Storytellers** are the narrative enchanters who write the plots, dialogues, and lore that give games heart and meaning.*
*All these craftspeople work together, combining their magical skills to create the games you enjoy. It's a bit like how in an orchestra, many different instruments play together to create beautiful music.*

🌟 The Birth of a Dream — Three Students with a Vision
*Our story begins in 2012, in the bustling city of Shanghai, China. Three university students — Cai Haoyu, Liu Wei, and Luo Yu — shared something very special: a deep love for anime, manga, and video games. They were passionate fans who spent countless hours watching Japanese animations, reading comics, and playing games.*
*But as they enjoyed these creations, they noticed something: most of the amazing anime and games they loved came from Japan. They wondered, "Why can't we create something this wonderful? Why do all the best stories come from other countries?"*
*This question sparked a flame in their hearts. Instead of just being fans who consume content, they decided to become creators who make content. They wanted to show the world that China could create anime and games that were just as good — or even better!*
*These three friends had different skills that complemented each other perfectly. Cai Haoyu was great at storytelling and character design. Liu Wei was a programming genius who could make computers do almost anything. Luo Yu was an artist whose drawings could bring any character to life. Together, they were a perfect team.*
*But they faced a big challenge: they were just students with no money, no office, and no experience running a company. All they had was their passion, their skills, and an unshakeable belief in their dream.*

🏢 From a Tiny Apartment to a Global Company
*Have you ever seen a tiny apartment where people live, sleep, and sometimes work? Imagine cramming five people, five computers, and all their belongings into such a small space. That was the "office" where miHoYo was born!*
*When Cai Haaxiu, Liu Wei, and Luo Yu decided to start their company, they couldn't afford a real office. So they rented a small apartment and turned it into their workspace. The living room became the meeting area, the bedrooms became coding stations, and the kitchen... well, the kitchen became the snack storage! (Every good game developer needs snacks!)*
*They called their tiny company "miHoYo." The name came from the Chinese phrase "米哈游," which sounds like "mi-ha-you." But it also has a deeper meaning. In Chinese, "mi" means rice, and "ha" and "yo" are sounds of laughter and joy. Together, it represents "laughing and playing happily" — exactly the feeling they wanted players to have when playing their games.*
*In those early days, life was tough but exciting. The three founders and their early teammates worked long hours, often forgetting to sleep or eat. They spent all their money on computers and food, leaving little for anything else. But they didn't mind because they were living their dream.*
*The first project they worked on was called "FlyMe2theMoon." It was a simple but charming game where players could throw a little girl into the sky and watch her fly. The game was inspired by the Japanese anime "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" and was meant as a fun tribute to the anime they loved.*
*While FlyMe2theMoon was a passion project, it helped the team learn and grow. They realized that if they wanted to create truly amazing games, they needed to think bigger. That's when they started working on something much more ambitious: "Honkai Impact 3rd."*
