Koko's Big Dream

The morning sun poured down like golden honey, casting a warm glow over every corner of the little forest town. Birds sang happily in the treetops, while dewdrops danced on the grass blades. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of wildflowers and fresh green herbs. All the forest creatures were starting their busy day.
In a hollow beneath an ancient oak tree at the edge of the forest lived a little rabbit named Koko. She had big, bright eyes that always sparkled with curiosity. Her long ears swayed gently, as if she were constantly listening to the sounds of nature. Most distinctive of all was her fluffy white tail that bounced along like a cloud whenever she ran.
Koko had always had a dream—to open her very own juice shop. Every morning, as she hopped along the forest path to Squirrel School, she noticed something interesting: the forest animals were always thirsty.
Little squirrel Toby had just gathered a basket full of acorns, his forehead covered in tiny beads of sweat. Mr. Beaver, who had been sawing wood, was panting heavily, his tongue licking his chapped lips. Little deer Lily had just finished dancing, elegantly fanning herself with her tiny hooves, her eyes revealing exhaustion. And there were the hedgehogs and field mice playing on the meadow, sweating profusely from their games, but unable to find a refreshing drink.
"Everyone looks so thirsty," Koko thought, tilting her head. "If only there was a shop that sold delicious juice, wouldn't that be wonderful?"
This idea quietly sprouted in Koko's heart, like a tiny seed that had finally found sunlight and rain, beginning to grow slowly but surely.
Day One: Koko Discovers the Problem
That day after school, instead of going straight home like usual, Koko wandered around the little forest town. She carefully observed every little animal that passed by, noting their expressions and needs.
She saw Little Bear Aobao—Aobao was Koko's classmate, big and strong with tremendous力气—he had just come out of the deep forest carrying a huge bundle of firewood. His forehead was covered in sweat, his cheeks flushed red, looking completely exhausted.
"Aobao, you look so thirsty!" Koko rushed over, handing him a big leaf to fan himself with.
Aobao took the leaf and fanned himself vigorously, then plopped down on the ground, breathing heavily. "Thanks, Koko. I helped Bear Mom carry so much firewood today. I'm so tired... If only I could have a glass of ice-cold juice right now..."
Aobao's words stirred something in Koko's heart. She continued walking and spotted Little Fox Nina, who was resting on a big rock looking quite discouraged. Nina was known throughout the forest as a dance prodigy, moving as lightly as the wind when she danced. But today Nina seemed a bit sad.
"Nina, what's wrong?" Koko asked curiously.
Nina sighed. "Dancing is really exhausting, you know? All that spinning and jumping. I sweat so much, my throat feels so dry. I'd love to drink something sweet. But there's no juice shop in the forest. I really wish someone would open one—I would buy juice every single day!"
Koko kept all of this in her heart. She was starting to understand that everyone, just like her, needed delicious juice to quench their thirst and regain their energy. So, a bold idea began taking shape in her mind.
"Maybe... maybe I could open a juice shop!" Koko's eyes sparkled brightly. "Then everyone could have delicious juice to drink!"
Back home, Koko excitedly told this idea to Rabbit Mom. She was in the kitchen preparing dinner. She put down the carrot she was holding and looked at her daughter gently.
"Koko wants to open a juice shop? What a wonderful idea!" Rabbit Mom smiled warmly. "But do you know what it takes to open a shop?"
Koko shook her head. She had never opened a shop before and didn't even really know how to make juice.
Rabbit Mom affectionately stroked Koko's long ears. "Don't worry, Koko. Opening a shop is quite challenging, but as long as you're willing to learn and willing to work hard, you can definitely do it. You know, when Mom was young, she had a dream of opening a cake shop too."
"Really? Did Mom ever open it?" Koko asked eagerly.
"Well, for one reason or another, Mom didn't end up opening it," Rabbit Mom said thoughtfully. "But Mom always believed that as long as we don't give up, dreams can come true someday." Rabbit Mom continued seriously, "Koko, if you really want to open a juice shop, Mom supports you! But Mom suggests you think about it carefully first. Maybe ask others for their opinions—perhaps your friends can help you figure things out together."
Koko nodded thoughtfully. Yes, one person's strength is limited. Maybe Aobao and Nina could help!

Day Two: Koko Searches for Partners
Early the next morning, when the sunlight still carried the special softness of dawn and dewdrops sparkled like diamonds on the grass, Koko rushed out the door. She was going to find her good friends.
First, she went to Little Bear Aobao's house. It was a giant ginkgo tree, with a round hollow carved into its trunk—that was Aobao's home. Aobao was sitting at the entrance, clutching a big jar of honey, his face covered in the sweet golden treat.
"Aobao! Aobao!" Koko waved from far away.
Aobao looked up and saw it was Koko, a simple smile spreading across his face. "Good morning, Koko! What brings you so early?"
Koko hopped and skipped over to Aobao, her eyes shining. "Aobao, I have a super wonderful idea! I want to open a juice shop! Making delicious juice for everyone, so when
