Section 1: The Glowing Old Book in the Library

那是一个下着绵绵细雨的星期六下午。

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon, with drizzle falling softly.

十岁的小明坐在社区图书馆的角落里，面前摊着一本厚厚的《世界地理百科》，但他的眼皮越来越沉。雨滴敲打窗户的声音像一首催眠曲，让整间图书馆都变得昏昏欲睡。

Ten-year-old Xiaoming sat in a corner of the community library. A thick encyclopedia of world geography lay open in front of him, but his eyelids were getting heavier and heavier. The sound of raindrops tapping on the windows was like a lullaby, making the whole library feel sleepy.

"好无聊啊……" 小明叹了口气，把头靠在椅背上。

"How boring…" Xiaoming sighed, leaning his head back against the chair.

就在他快要睡着的时候，视线无意间扫过书架最底层——那里有一本他从未注意过的旧书。书的封面是深蓝色的，边角已经磨损，但奇怪的是，书脊上竟然隐隐发出一丝金色的微光。

Just as he was about to fall asleep, his gaze accidentally swept across the bottom shelf of the bookcase — there was an old book he had never noticed before. The cover was deep blue, with worn edges, but strangely, the spine was faintly glowing with a golden light.

小明揉了揉眼睛，怀疑自己看错了。

Xiaoming rubbed his eyes, suspecting he had seen wrong.

But the light was still there, flickering, as if it were breathing.

他蹲下身，小心翼翼地把书抽了出来。书皮上没有任何书名，只有一个奇怪的图案：一个圆圈，圆圈里有三个箭头，分别指向"看"、"想"、"做"三个方向。

He crouched down and carefully pulled the book out. There was no title on the cover, only a strange pattern: a circle with three arrows inside, pointing in three directions — "See," "Think," and "Do."

"What is this?" Xiaoming murmured to himself.

一道金光从书页里冲了出来，把小明整个人都卷了进去。书本、椅子、图书馆、雨声——一切都消失了。小明感觉自己像一片羽毛一样，在金色的光芒中飘啊飘，飘向一个他从未见过的地方。

A beam of golden light shot out from the page and swept Xiaoming entirely into it. The books, the chair, the library, the sound of rain — everything disappeared. Xiaoming felt like a feather, floating in the golden light, drifting toward a place he had never seen before.

当他睁开眼睛的时候，他发现自己正站在一条铺着鹅卵石的小路上。小路两旁是五颜六色的小房子，每栋房子都长得不一样——有的是蘑菇形状，有的是积木形状，有的干脆就是一本翻开的书。

When he opened his eyes, he found himself standing on a small path paved with cobblestones. On both sides of the path were colorful little houses, each one shaped differently — some like mushrooms, some like building blocks, and some simply like an open book.

"Welcome to the Agent Kingdom, little traveler from afar!"

一个温柔的声音从拱门后面传来。走出来的是一个戴着眼镜、怀里抱着一本厚厚笔记本的卡通人物，他的头顶上漂浮着一顶小小的博士帽。

A gentle voice came from behind the archway. Out walked a cartoon character wearing glasses, hugging a thick notebook, with a tiny doctor's cap floating above his head.

"你……你是谁？" 小明紧张地问。

"Who… who are you?" Xiaoming asked nervously.

那个小人物笑眯眯地鞠了一躬：

The little character smiled and bowed:

"我是 规划师 Planner，Agent 王国的向导。国王听说有小朋友要来，特意派我来迎接你。"

"I am Planner, the guide of the Agent Kingdom. The King heard that a child was coming and specially sent me to greet you."

"国王？" 小明更糊涂了，"什么国王？"

"The King?" Xiaoming was even more confused. "What King?"

规划师 Planner 推了推眼镜，神秘地笑了笑：

Planner pushed up his glasses and smiled mysteriously:

"等你见到国王，你就明白了。不过在见国王之前，让我先带你认识一下我们的小镇吧——在这里，住着一群非常特别的小居民。它们不是人类，也不是普通的机器人。它们有一个共同的名字。"

"You'll understand when you meet the King. But before that, let me first show you around our little town — here live a group of very special little residents. They are neither humans nor ordinary robots. They share a common name."

Section 2: They Are Not Ordinary Programs — They Are Called AI Agents

小镇的中心是一个圆形的广场，广场中央矗立着一座闪闪发光的雕像。雕像的样子很奇怪：它的身体是一个圆，圆上面有两只大大的眼睛，圆下面有一双可以走路的脚，脚边放着一个小小的工具箱。

In the center of the town was a circular plaza, and in the middle of the plaza stood a glowing statue. The statue looked very strange: its body was a circle, with two big eyes on top, two walking legs below, and a small toolbox beside its feet.

"这就是 AI Agent 的标志。" 规划师说。

"This is the symbol of an AI Agent," said Planner.

"Agent? Sounds like a spy in a movie." Xiaoming scratched his head.

"哈哈，不是那个意思！" 规划师笑得前仰后合，"不过你这么一说也很有趣。Agent 这个词在英文里的确有'代理人'或'执行者'的意思，但在这里，它指的是一种能自己思考、自己做事的小英雄。"

"Haha, that's not what it means!" Planner laughed heartily. "But that's an interesting association. The word 'Agent' in English does mean 'representative' or 'executor,' but here, it refers to a little hero that can think for itself and do things on its own."

"自己思考？自己做事？" 小明瞪大了眼睛，"那不就是机器人吗？我们家的扫地机器人就可以自己扫地呀！"

"Think for itself? Do things on its own?" Xiaoming's eyes widened. "Isn't that just a robot? The robot vacuum at home can sweep the floor by itself!"

"好问题！" 规划师竖起大拇指，"这是很多小朋友都会有的疑问。让我来仔细给你讲讲它们的区别。"
